Introduction
Welcome! Thanks for coming by – we are always happy to get a visit from ukulele fans and new friends. Check out our facebook page of the same name.
We formed as a band after ukulele lessons at Blackheath Library the end of August 2012. We have appeared at Wednesbury Museum and Art Gallery Open Mic Nights. We also did a couple of Christmas lights last year. We intend to build up a good selection of songs both old & new in 2013.
Blackheath Ukulele Group has now become Blackheath Ukulele Group Strummers as a Ukulele Club (as of 13th Jan 2013) We will be doing various performances and workshops in the local area ( we will advise when dates are set). We are now a ukulele group where you can come along and learn if you are a beginner or join us in the main room upstairs and strum along to a selection of song from our list.
